THIS IS A DECIDUOUS PLANT WITH A TUFFED HABBIT. IT PRODUCES PURPLE OR BLUE FLOWERS IN WINTER.

THIS PLANT LIKES A NORTH/EAST/WEST/SOUTH FACING GARDEN. IT DOES NOT MIND AN EXPOSED OR SHELTERED POSITION IN A SANDY, CHALK, CLAY, LOAM SOIL. IT MUST HAVE AN ALKALINE OR NEUTRAL SOIL.

 

HEIGHT | SPREAD | GROWING TIME

THE PLANT TAKES ROUGHLY 2-5 YEARS TO GAIN FULL HEIGHT AND SPREAD. HEIGHT 10-50 CM. SPREAD OF UP TO 10CM.

 

PRUNE | PESTS | DISEASE

NO PRUNING IS REQUIRED BUT DEAD HEADING IS GOOD PRACTICE. SLUGS AND SNAILS MAY BECOME A PROBLEM. GENERALLY DISEASE FREE.
